species of birds (23 of them are endemics) while 103 species of
mammals (7 of them are endemics) have been recorded, too. The
vegetation is one of the most diverse and abundant in Africa, and
many of our National Parks are recognized as some of the last
remaining untouched wilderness of Africa.

famous places as Ethiopia’s & an African capital, Addis Ababa. The
spectacular falls of the Blue Nile in Bahir Dar, the island
monasteries of Lake Tana. The European style castles of Gondar,
Church of World heritage – Debre Berhan Selassie, The towering
mountains and rivers of Sankaber, Geech and Chenek, the churches
in Axum, the chiselled rock churches of Lalibela, which are one
of the wonders of the world.
